Rules and Policies for A Way Out Sober Living

At A Way Out Sober Living, the rules are carefully designed to ensure the safety and sobriety of our residents. These policies are in place to create a secure, supportive, and structured environment where individuals can focus on their recovery journey without distractions or disruptions.

  1. Smoking and Vaping Policies

    • Smoking and vaping are allowed, but only outside the houses. No smoking or vaping is permitted inside any of the buildings.
  2. Pet Policies

    • Pets are not allowed to live in the houses permanently.
    • Pets are welcome to visit, but they cannot stay overnight or reside in the houses.
  3. Visitor Policies

    • Family members are welcome to visit and may spend time in the common areas.
    • Significant others or spouses can visit in common areas but are not permitted to stay in the bedrooms.
  4. Other Guidelines

    • The houses maintain a structured environment, including supervision with regular urine analyses and breathalyzer tests to ensure a sober living atmosphere.
    • Residents are expected to adhere to the house rules by picking up after themselves and participate in weekly house meetings.
    • Our residents are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the commitment to their recovery and the well-being of the community.
    • No drugs, alcohol, weapons, or fighting are permitted on the premises; any violation of these rules will result in immediate dismissal from the home.

These rules are strictly enforced to maintain a positive and sober living experience for everyone.
